I am returning to fabric design with a intuitive sense that worsted wool cloth is perfect as a fabric for the moment. It’s made out of Merino wool and has a wonderful handle, I love showing people fabrics I’ve designed and watching a sense of amazement  as they realise that despite the lustrous smooth surface they are all wool. It blows away any sense that wool is itchy and hot. It has all the right environmental credentials for a contemporary fabric and a long history of British manufacture.

The Icebreaker website shows my idea of a ‘coolBrand’, referring to the CoolBrands awards. It tells the story of a product that feels great is sustainable, traceable and very well designed.
